April 23rd Full Moon Intention and Affirmation: Navigating Internal Conflict

The full moon is upon us, so I have a new tarot curated intention and affirmation for us to work with. This moon cycle I used the Light Seers tarot deck, and we pulled the Eight of Wands, the Eight of Swords, and the Three of Pentacles.

Be sure to have a look at the cards to see what they awaken in you, let’s dive in.

Intention: We’ve all experienced the tension between wanting to trust our intuition and the desire for a clear path. Have you ever felt a pull to go with the flow, sensing things are aligning but another part of you craves a roadmap, wanting to know the exact steps to reach your goals?

How can we navigate this internal tug-of-war?

Affirmation: I create a flexible plan that allows for adaptation and intuitive insight.

Let's break down each card.

The cards we pulled present an interesting interplay of themes, pointing towards movement, potential obstacles, and collaboration.

Eight of Wands: This card is all about swift progress, action, and communication. It signifies things moving quickly, projects taking off, and opportunities arising. This archetype suggests a need to embrace the momentum and go with the flow.

Eight of Swords: This card can represent feeling stuck, indecisive, or limited. There might be internal or external obstacles hindering your progress. You might feel unsure or like you need to have all your next steps mapped out. This archetype suggests a need to stop overanalyzing.

Three of Pentacles: This archetype is all about uniting seemingly disparate parts of ourselves. By honoring and integrating the conflicting desires within us, and potentially seeking support from our community, we can move forward with a more holistic approach to achieving our goals.

In essence, these three cards offer a roadmap for navigating internal conflict. The Eight of Wands urges you to trust the flow and embrace the momentum of opportunities, while the Eight of Swords cautions against overthinking or feeling paralyzed by a lack of complete clarity.

The Three of Pentacles is reminder that things can come together even if all the details aren’t mapped out. By honoring both the intuitive pull of Eight of Wands and the desire for direction that comes with the Eight of Swords, you can create a more holistic approach that integrates seemingly opposing desires.

The desires to flow and to plan, while seemingly at odds, can both stem from the same fundamental need: a sense of safety and security. This moon cycle's energy encourages us to navigate this internal conflict and find a balance that works for us.
